This cottage offers a peaceful riverside setting, opening onto a private patio with beautiful views across the River Dee and Balmoral Golf Course. Guests can also enjoy watching the many birds that visit the nearby feeders and bird tables, perfectly framed by the patio window. The accommodation includes an accessible twin bedroom on the ground floor and a second bedroom in the upstairs gallery, making it suitable for a range of guests.

Recently refurbished, the cottage has been thoughtfully designed to support guests living with dementia and related conditions, as well as those with physical disabilities. Clearly zoned kitchen, dining and living areas help create a comfortable and easy-to-navigate environment, while additional features such as specialist cutlery and tableware, and fidget balls, provide extra support and reassurance. Excellent Holiday Cottages I have visited 6 times now with my family and I agree with everything previous reviewers have said. The cottages are set in beautiful, peaceful countryside a few yards from the river Dee, on the fringes of Balmoral Estate. They are very comfortable for disabled and able bodied tenants alike. I am in an electric wheelchair and find Clunie cottage roomy, very accessible and very well adapted, they even have electric profiling beds and Closomat toilets. Other aids and equipment is available on request for free and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend these cottages to anyone.
