A little jewel of a place Practically, this cottage (Gairn) had a roll-in shower, a sink that could be height adjusted, a clos-o-mat toilet and plenty of room to move around. The bed has tracking and a positional bed. I asked for a bed lever and it was provided free of charge.The rest of the cottage was easy to move around in with my manual wheelchair. Outside, there's a lovely picnic area where we ate breakfast on a beautiful morning. The gorgeous , peaceful surroundings is nothing but idyllic. The place itself is well positioned to visit Ballater, Braemar and the distillery. When we arrived, any questions are answered by Maggie who is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Being there with my family, meant that I could enjoy the break as much as they all did
